Project overview
The European Outdoor Education Hub supports educators through a comprehensive programme of teacher training and continuing professional development (CPD) in Outdoor Education. Over time, this has included both on-site training workshops in schools and communities, and online seminars accessible to teachers across Greece and internationally.
Our approach combines three key elements:
Practical training in Outdoor Education methodologies, experiential learning strategies, and activity design, adapted to the needs of each school level.
Mentoring and coaching, providing follow-up support so teachers can confidently apply new practices in classrooms and outdoor learning environments.
Research-based training design, ensuring that professional development is evidence-driven and contributes to long-term educational innovation.
Through this blended model, the programme has reached hundreds of teachers, building their capacity to integrate Outdoor Education into daily teaching practice.
Educators are encouraged to experiment with innovative pedagogies, reflect on outcomes, and share best practices with peers, contributing to a growing professional network for Outdoor Education in Greece and Europe.
