SoulFood offered teenagers a full experiential camp combining Outdoor Education with themes of nature, nutrition, and music. Co-created with our partners Nature [Outdoor Training & Education] (Belgium) and Aventura Therapia (Spain), the programme took place across two countries — Belgium and Greece — and brought young people together in a cross-cultural learning journey.
The camp integrated three strands into a holistic experience:
Nature: outdoor and adventure activities fostering resilience, teamwork, and environmental connection.
Nutrition: mindful eating, cooking, and food culture workshops linking health with sustainability.
Music: creative sessions using rhythm and sound as tools for communication and cultural expression.
Supported by community partners such as Mindful Eating Hellas, THINK BEEG, Apicell Greece, Joy Dog Club, and the Scouts of Thessaloniki, the camp created a dynamic environment where adolescents explored identity, wellbeing, and creativity while building friendships and collaborative projects across borders.
Through initiatives like SoulFood, the Hub shows how Outdoor Education can provide holistic, international experiences for young people, addressing sustainability, health, and creativity in ways that empower the next generation.

“Today is one of the rare times that I publicly want to thank the European Outdoor Education Hub and Co-Founder / Director Aristea Kyriakou for this wonderful life experience that she gave to my 14-year-old son.”
