Project overview
The European Outdoor Education Hub designs and delivers educational activities tailored to the themes of cultural and community festivals. Our approach combines outdoor learning with creative, participatory formats that adapt to each event’s focus, ensuring relevance and engagement for diverse audiences.
We have collaborated with multiple festivals across Greece, integrating activities that range from nature-based workshops and intergenerational games to environmental challenges and storytelling sessions. Each festival partnership is designed to highlight the event’s theme while promoting experiential learning, inclusion, and community participation.
These collaborations have proven highly successful, reaching large numbers of children, families, and educators and demonstrating how Outdoor Education can enrich public events. Through festivals, the Hub extends its educational mission into the wider community, creating shared experiences that connect learning, culture, and sustainability.
