Target Group: [early students, teachers, university students]
Partners: [Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Eco School Blue Bee]
Project overview
The programme “What is the… University?” was developed by the European Outdoor Education Hub in collaboration with the Department of Early Childhood Education, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, on the occasion of the Department’s 40th anniversary.
The programme engaged 69 university students, 25 preschool children from the Eco School Blue Bee and their teachers, academic staff of the Department, members of the University’s administrative and support services, and the EOE Hub team.
Activities took place both indoors and outdoors across the University Tower, inviting participants to explore the institution as a learning community. The design applied Outdoor Education methodology to connect students, children, faculty, and staff in a shared process of discovery and reflection on the question: “What is the University?”
