Researchers, policymakers, and educators come together to actively shape the future of outdoor learning. By connecting rigorous scientific research with active policy dialogue and hands-on practice, we aim to build a unified and impactful framework for outdoor education.
To achieve this, the program is built on three core pillars: Science, Policy, and Fieldwork.
SCIENCE
Establishes scientific credibility. Features research presentations, a peer review process, and a defined publication pathway under scientific committee oversight.
POLICY
Connects research findings to education governance, institutional priorities, and funding agendas. Includes policy dialogue sessions, institutional endorsements, structured briefings for decision-makers.
FIELDWORK
Grounds theoretical content in applied practice. Conducted in natural outdoor settings in small groups.

THE SCIENTIFIC TRACK
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
We invite academics and researchers to submit their contributions for the formal scientific track. All accepted abstracts will undergo a rigorous peer-review process and secure a defined publication pathway within our official conference proceedings.
